profile expired before deadline; could not finish my application

Hi,

my profile expired half an hour before the deadline as I was uploading documents, minutes before I was about to submitted it. I have an email informing me of expiration that was sent half an hour before deadline. I called them, the person suggested I make a technical complaint. I made it, although I made two other complaints with similar content, when this happened. I put all my documents in that complaint and one of the previous complaints. I just got an answer to one of my previous complaints saying I did not submit my documents on time, so my profile expired. But I did not submit my documents because my profile expired before the deadline. It was not my fault at all. I fear that my other complaint will meet similar fate and that I will be left without any other recourse to appeal this.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Does anyone have any advice?

Your post isn't that clear and more info is needed. What were you applying for that had a deadline? What kind of permit specifically? IEC/Working Holiday Visa by any chance?

Sorry about that. Yes, it is a working holiday/IEC application. I was applying for work permit after getting an invitation because they selected me from the working holiday pool. The deadline was 8th of February 2017. I got an email at 11:30 pm EST on 7th Feb 2017 informing me my profile expired.

I was just checking time zones in Canada. I can see that there is a small part of the country that is on a later time than EST. I am wondering if that is why my profile expired.
