Hey everyone!
Here's my profile:
10th - 10 cgpa
12th - 95%
BE in IT - 7.8 gpa till 6th sem (no backlogs)
Will graduate in 2020
IELTS - yet to take, expecting band 7
No Work Exp. except a 2-month long internship
No publications but research experience with professors
I am considering to pursue ms in cs (thesis)
Can I please get an idea of universities to which I should apply to in safe, achievable and ambitious categories?

Make google your best friend. I mean, There are multiple but you gotta research the schools then break it down to the one you love, then break down further to something that you really want. First, research all the school that offers the course you want to pursue.

Thanks for the advice! I have already made a list of universities to which I'll apply, just need to know my chances of getting in, in terms of safe, achievable and ambitious. Here they are : University of Alberta, Simon Fraser University, McGill University, University of Calgary, University of Ottawa, Western University

Apply to all of the Universities. Whichever will accept you or if multiple will accept you, choose whichever your heart desire. Believe in yourself and give a try. You have a great academic profile, I am sure if not all, about 4 or 5 universities of your choice will give you admission.

Update : Received Band 8.0 in IELTS, minimum being 7.0
