I want to emigrate to Canada through the FSW program, but as a dietitian I would need to complete a ten week training program before I could become qualified to work in Canada. I want to travel to Canada temporarily to complete this course, then return home and apply for the FSW program. Can I apply for a visitors visa to complete this training, as it is not through an educational institution (so no study permit) nor a paid position within the labour market (so no TWP). Thoughts?

Yes, the TRV as a visitor is acceptable here as the training is shorter than 6 months.
