Processing Times

My family applied for a visitor visa using the online application on 29th May in New Delhi. They still have not received any updates whatsoever. The application was complete and all necessary documents were uploaded.

Does anyone know of the average processing times for a visitor visa during this time of the year (applied in New Delhi)?

I have not heard from the visa office yet either. My application was received by visa office on 5th June.

Any update from people who applied for a TRV in New Delhi during the summer? This is frustrating. One would imagine a country like Canada would manage this properly. The visa wait times are ridiculous. Neither do they inform anything at any stage during the entire process.

You are absolutely right. I had applied visa after seeing 7 days processing time, but that is fake. This is the worst country in the world in terms of poor practice of immigration stuffs. I never had hard time geting visa of USA, UK, Australia, schengen. Now, I have already cancelled my purposed trip and I need to travel other country and passport is in their desk,,, its completely ridiculious... Will never plan to travel canada again.

Now they have changed the processing time as 3 weeks. What is that including working days, or not,, bullshit.. they do whatever they like,,,
