Processing Times on www.cic.gc.ca

I believe most of us visit official website of CIC quite reularly. One of their feature is processing times. CIC updates these quarterly. But now I have noticed that these have not been updated since dec. Can anybody please comment?

how authentic are the processing times which are posted on the official website?
I have an application under the PNP prog at the CHC islamabad , where the processing times are 12 months , it had been 7 months since i rceived the AOR and i have not yet heard from the CHC people so far !! ... should i order my CAIPS ? and how can it be done from Pak ? BTW , the islamabad CHC site was updated in april regarding the processing times !

Its not only the processing times, but other items as well for example only two editions of monitor were released last year and none appeared this year as yet, "Just the Facts" also like the same, Statistics are mostly irrelevant and updated till 2004.

Till 2006 they were updating processing times on quarterly basis regularly, we should consider these times authentic as being published by on official authority, and there is no other source available.

Being a daily visitor to this site, I can say they only focus on front page and once or twice a week change the snaps of minister that’s all. However, they have recently put a posting about new website lets hope that proves to be more informative.

Despite of all our optimism, processing Time of CHC Islamabad is sliding upward, all we can do is to hope and pray for the best; because if trend remains the same i.e. 2 months increase in every quarter then one can expect 70 months very soon.

Yes Manzar you are right. here is comparison time:

Previously It was:
30% of cases in 57 months
50% of cases in 58 months
70% of cases in 61 months
80% of cases in 63 months
Now It is:
30% of cases in 59 months
50% of cases in 62 months
70% of cases in 63 months
80% of cases in 65 months

I HAVE APPLIED TO CANADA THROUGH THE SIMPLIFIED APPLICATION PROCESS IN AUGUST, 2006 FROM ABU DHABI, UAE. WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG IS THE WAIT GOING TO TAKE. SO ANXIOUS TO BE THERE SOON.

Well you are not the only frustrated on about processing time. We are trying to renew my husband's and my daughter's permanent resident card so that they can come back to Canada after visiting Thailand this summer.

The processsing time is getting longer and longer and now they have been stuck on feb 1st for 3 weeks.

So frustrating!

does anyone have any idea what they mean by

we sent a full package application for skilled worker to canadian embassy last aug.27 2010. until now, we did not receive any response from the embassy. we want to know how many months before we receive the answer to our application. it's almost 6 months and 1 week
