Hi, hopefully you can help me out. My Boyfriend has PR and has recently applied for his citizenship. What's the process like? is there an average timeline of the responses from CIC? What is to be expected. Thank you so much in advance

The processing time can vary quite a bit. I have heard of people getting in it as little as 8 months and other cases can take years.

His paperwork will be processed at the Calgary office. Do you know how long it takes to receive the acknowledgement letter and the Discover Canada booklet?

I got mine in 2 months, some people had to wait a lot longer. With immigration, there is really not much to do except wait until they get around to it.
