Processing Time Problem Stuck At The First Stage

My dear like-minded fellows,
My fees were paid and initial application package was sent to CIO in Sydney, NS by express post service in November 2009.
Neither rejected nor approved - absolutely nothing is happening... What's happening? It's been more than 20 weeks now, very unsettling... E-cas system does not recognize my data.
Is it normal? What should I do? Just wait and pray?..

Canadian immigration, post office and custom guys are toooooooo lazy, they enjoy dancing , eating and do only one case per day i think, they dam care applicant's Desperation. My case is stucvk from 20 days at customs office , they even dont respond and many others are like that,I will for you.

Anxiety deepens with suspense...

Do you have some evidence of receipt like your app package was received/delivered on 20 Nov 2009, received by XYZ? IN case you do then writing to CIO quoting reference of the delivery date and name of the person who received it. I guess that should help. Like in my case, I sent thru Fedex and have got the receiving person name on my tracking page.
