processing time Permanent Residence and Card

Hello,
I apologies because I am sure the answer to my following question is likely on the forum, but I couldn't find it.

I apply for PR in April and I was wondering how long it should/take to get the PR status and how long for the PR card?

Has anyone of you a rough idea of the current processing time?

It's currently 40 days.

thanks Istari. I have read that info but 40 days, assuming it refers to working days, it's about 8 weeks. In my case it has been 16 weeks.

I was wondering if someone who applied in April has received any updates...

If you mean you sent your PR application in April, then the processing time is 6 months on average. Check the times for Permanent Residence > Economic Class.

40 days for the PR card is counted from the day of your landing and signing of COPR.
