Hello forum,

as you can see in my signature, my application has recently been re-opened after I asked IRCC for a reconsideration and submitted an extra ECA.

Does anyone know if they will re-process the entire application or if they are going to carry on where they stopped before?

Am I at the very back of the queue now and need to wait another ~ 6 months?

Thanks!

Anyone? I asked IRCC but didn't get a response yet...
If I may ask, why was your application initially denied? To give an opinion to your question, l'm not sure there's a timeframe for processing, one just need to be patient.

I took the instructions on EE about only needing an ECA for the highest credential too literal. Turned out they wanted one for my first degree as well. After I got rejected I had that assessed and submitted it to CIC together with a request for reconsideration, then they re-opened my application.

The interesting part is that the application had somehow made it to CPC-O already, but was then rejected under subsection 11.2, which is normally done by the CIO according to CIC's website...

Processing shouldn't take long. All the best.
