Processing time from inland

Hello,

My wife is sponsoring me to obtain my permanent resident status from within Canada. We sent our file to Vegreville and they sent it to Mississauga. Up until recently, the online processing time on the CIC website seemed to be moving along at a good pace, however it froze a few weeks ago. Can anyone let me know why?

I gather they have frozen the timeline to finish all the stage 1 (AIP) @ in CPC-V . Once they have finished stage 1 in CPC-V CPC-M will take over.

This is what I have asked myself. You think week over week the time line would move but I would guess next Friday they will update stage 1 to 10 months.
