Processing time for work visa

Hi,

I am an IT professional and have 11 years of experience. I want to work and live in Canada.

I want to know how much is the processing time for getting work visa in Canada, assuming I have received the offer letter.

Please guide me on this.

Depends on your country of origin.

FYI - a job offer isn't enough to qualify for a work permit. Your employer also need to obtain an approved LMIA before you can apply for the work permit. The LMIA process can take 4-6 months to complete.
