Processing time for Visitor Visa from Pakistan?

Hello All,

I am planning to apply for visit visa of 20 Days, from Pakistan. Its mention on CIC website that the processing time for my country is 71 Days.
I am wondering, does CIC takes the same time regardless of acceptance or rejection of Visa. Or do they reply the candidate earlier than 71 days, if Visa Officer decides to refuse visa because of any particular doubt?

Yes
The processing time is 71 days from Pakistan.
It depends upon visa officer but I have seen some cases in this forum they got their passport early some with visa stamina and some with rejection .
It's depend upon your documents. I did apply even from pretoria , South Africa , I do have Pakistani passport , been more 62 days , did nt get any reply .
Normally now they are taking time or more then processing time ...

My mother in law applied in Canadian Visa center Islamabad it has been a month did not get any response from Visa Center yet. May I know how long does it take to then the response from them and also I track the application status online which just shows the message " Your passport has been forwarded to Canadian Visa office".
