I would like to know about my stage regarding my pr application under Express entry.

1. AOR - 7TH SEPTEMBER 2019
2. MEDICAL PASSED - 26TH SEPTEMBER 2019

In my cic application
We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
You passed the medical exam.
We are reviewing the additional documents provided
You don't need an interview
Biometric completed
We are processing your backround check
Your application is in progress. We will send you a massage once the final decision has been made.


What is my stage? IP1 or IP2

This is a reference for us applicants. As you have more than 2 months already, if you are interested you can try calling IRCC to see your app status in regards to Elegibility, Criminality, Security and location of file, if you are interested.

Again defining a stage can be subjective and not really indicative of anything. My advice would be to not despair and wait,

What's false IP2?

Means that the state of "we are processing your background check" is not real, it's a predetermined message that will show on the screen right after AOR.

Theoretically, in your profile the background will go through:

-Not applicable
-In progress (IP1)
-Not applicable
-We are processing (IP2)

From a while back it has been at the "we are processing" stage since AOR, so applicants call it a false IP (in progress) 2.
