Processing time for online Work Permit extension within Canada

Has anyone applied for online Work Permit extension (same employer) within Canada on March 27, 2014 or plus/minus 2 days and heard back yet? My friend applied on March 27th and hasn't heard from CIC yet. Please, comment. Thanks.

If you looked at the processing times http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp you would see that CIC is working on applications submitted 22 March.

So you add 5 days, taking it to the 27th. Then it has to be mailed.
