Processing Time for First-Generation Applicants

Does anyone know or have had experience with applying for Canadian Citizenship, being that they are the first-generation born abroad to a Canadian parent? How long does the processing time take in order to get proof of Citizenship?

It varies from application to application. I would count on it taking around six months.

If you are referring to acknowledgement receipt for grant of citizenship application then you will receive the acknowledgement anywhere around 1-4 months after the delivery of the application at CPC Sydney.
