Processing time for Chandigarh VFS - paper application

Anybody knows what is the current processing times for Chandigarh VFS paper application?

On the website it is 16 working days. officially according to VFS office CHD 3 to 4 weeks. Though it varies from case to case.

My parents applied on May 27, 2015 at VFS CHD paper application. No response yet from their side.

I have send two case enquiries, but nothing revert back yet. How about you? when did you apply?

Applied on July 16th.... I am worried because the date to travel mentioned on the forms is Aug 16

My parents apply on June 23rd,but there is no response from them.i am also waiting

I hope processing is done by Aug 10, otherwise they might reject it just for the reason that the intended date is so close. Any body know if they can reject it for that reason?
