Just received my notice to write the exam next month in the mail. I'm getting a little closer to the end!
Still no update on the website...
The application is just for my hubby and me...there is no update regarding the test on E-CAS as of today, I phoned CIC in May and they told me when my file was transferred.Canuto said:NICE ONE!!! Good to know that there is movement going on in the Praries.
Is this a family application or single?
So your E-CAS still shows File Transferred to Calgary? Seems that nothing gets updated online these days.
Let's hope you'll get the same day Test/Oath.Good luck!!! Keep us all posted then.justmeinyyc said:The application is just for my hubby and me...there is no update regarding the test on E-CAS as of today, I phoned CIC in May and they told me when my file was transferred.
From what I understand, the floods caused delays in Calgary. I'm hoping for a same day test/oath, I'm not sure if they still have them or not.

Hi Mark, thank you so much for your response. Hopefully my hubby will be taking his test soon and we are trying to make sense of it all. I currently live in the states while he's sponsoring me and we want to prepare for his citizenship. I want to be there for his oath and we hear so many different things from the Calgary office that sometimes we don't even know what to think anymore. If you don't mind me asking, does your brother and sis-in-law live in Calgary? and also do you know their timeline? The reason I ask is because in another post they said they do test/oath same day for ppl living out of Calgary.mark1987 said:Hi nortena
From what i know in their notice it wasn't saying anything about oath because my sister-in-law before they go for the test she was saying that they have to wait 2-3 months for the oath if they pass the test. My brother told me that the officers told them that everybody pass the test and they will do the ceremony same day.
