Processing Time at Abu Dhabi Visa Office

Dears,

How long does Abu Dhabi VAC / Canadian embassy take to stamp or process the PR visa? I submitted my passport on December 4th at VFS Dubai office and till now there is no update.

My medical will expire in mid March and my passport will expire in the first week of July.

Please share your views and comments.

Not yet. It’s almost 5 months since I submitted application. Multiple reminders given. But no answer.

Was yours a complicated case or straight forward one? I mean did you meet the residency requirement or was it on humanitatrian grounds or something? Been two months since I applied and I’ve been badgering them sending requests for urgent processing due to medical reasons but it falls on deaf ears. Literally no one cares. I keep having to exit and re enter the country and keep getting visit visas for me and my kids. Not to mention flight change fees that I have to pay to etihad since my return ticket was already booked and paid for. Going bankrupt but no one seems to care.
