Processing time after Medicals have been sent

Hi,

I am a June 2010 applicant in Federal Skilled Immigration category. I recently received a request for medicals, PR fee from the BUffalo visa office (specifically Feb 2012). I have completed the medicals on 10th of March and have sent all the requested documents (PR fee, police clearance certificates) to the Visa Office in the first week of April. What are the timelines from here on for -

When should I be expecting a request for passports (assuming decision is positive)?
How much time does it take for passports to be returned?

After Medicals, your security background checks start and sometimes it gets 3 to 4 months for next step and sometimes just after 1 or 2 months you get the result so.......
You can never know how much time would it take to get PPR after Medicals. I have done my meds in Dec-2011 and the "Medicals Received" line was added into my eCas in Feb-2012. Still i am waiting for the next step.
On other hand, i have seen some cases; they did their medicals in Feb-2012/March2012 and now getting their PPR.
I guess it all depends on their priority list + background checks completion time.
