Processing starts. When medical expected?

hi every body,
My brother received last week a letter from CHC LONDON that the immigration officer reviewed your application and we start processing your application. we will finish your whole process in 6 - 8 months.

After one week of this letter, E-case changed and says that we start processing ur application from 30th of march.

His details are as follows
NOC = 4131
1st AOR = july 2010
2nd AOR = Sept 2010

Can some one please let me know that any idea that how much time it will take now after start processing for MEDICAL?
I read in a forum that usually within two months after starting processing, medical request comes. So just want to get more information about it.

don't worry, u will get visa by this year end.

It all depends on the Visa officer handling your case........... There is no set timelines as of now, just hang in.

Congratulation I am very happy for you. But I must admit that this letter is very strange I never seen them commit them self to such a period. They might and have being saying that the next stage of processing will start in 6-12 months but not complete processing in 6-8 month.

Nothing can be said for sure. Even after receivng similar in process date, people got decision made status. Check the following discussion

MI1 applicants are recieving 6-12 months letter
and MI2 applicants are recieving 6-8 months letter

CIC Said it would take 1 year for MI-1 but its taking 3-4 years now.
nothing can be said until you get the MR>

Certain NOCs such as 0213 applicants (of MI1) are getting 6-12 months letter not all!

This means that LVO target for MI1 is Dec 2012, I hope so!

MI1 applicants are recieving 6-12 months letter
and MI2 applicants are recieving 6-8 months letter
