Processing of LMO nowadays in Alberta

Hi please help me guys with my questions

1. A canadian hotel company wants to hire me, Do You have any idea what is the average processing time of LMO for Food and Beverage server in Calgary Alberta ? I am currently working here in SK
2. Is it real that I could get LMO result for shorter time because I am already here in Canada ?


Other info: currently working in a Fastfood chain.

All LMO applications take the same amount of time regardless of whether you're in Canada or not. Some people posting on this forum recently got theirs after 7 weeks, but processing times vary from time to time. Let's just hope that processing times stay low, or better yet, decrease in the coming days/weeks. My employer is about 2-3 weeks into mine.

thanks,. but theres a news that HRSDC will be more stricted nowadays for employers who are wishing to hire foreign workers .. could it affect the processing times ? 7-8 weeks are the average time of LMO as i noticed. thanks
