Processing center selection

Hi

i am sponsoring my wife (international Student) residing with me in Quebec.

I sent the Sponsoring Application, they requested a police cert, IMM5669 and Medical Exam. I have done those and already sent them 3 weeks ago. The online "check Status" states that CIC-Mississauga received the file and received the Med Exam, nothing else.

1) Is it normal to take so much time of idleness? Especially that we still need to send CSQ Application to MIDI? (waiting for CIC permission letter).

2) What is usually the time to receive a letter that they transferred the application to a processing center?

3) Do u have any idea how much time for a CSQ in Quebec ?

4) What is the processing center for Applicants living in Montreal ?

1) yes, totally normal....and you're not done waiting

2) we got our after approximately 1.5 month

3) took us a bit more than 2 weeks (was actually surprised how fast it was). On the MIDI website, you can find the latest processing time.

4) I assume you applied Inland, so it would be the same VO as all the other inland applicants (not sure where that is now)

I applied under the Family class, which is considered outland i guess (Lebanon)
