Hello everyone,
I am a Korean citizen currently in a relationship with a Canadian citizen for 4 years. At the moment, I am in Korea while he's in Canada.
I have plans to visit him again in September and I am interested to work in Canada during my stay. We also have plans to get married once i'm there, so I'm wondering whether I should apply for an open work permit before I leave Korea/before getting married? or should I apply for an open work permit when i'm already in Canada while in the process of being sponsored by my future spouse?
I can only stay in Canada as a temporary visitor for 6 months, so I am worried there's not enough time for my application to be processed.
Thank you.
