Because it isn't a requirement, IRCC will ignore it. But i assume if you are a CEC applicant this question would not be asked.canada19881 said:what if someone had already mentioned POST ITA in Express Entry , that they have X amount .
You will just write an LOE stating you were invited to apply under CEC... that is what i did and I uploaded the letter on that section.canada19881 said:what if someone had already mentioned POST ITA in Express Entry , that they have X amount .
So are you asking about POF or how to answer the question in the profile?canada19881 said:Actually it does when you fill your Express Entry profile it is generic , and would ask you how much funds will Mr X is bringing to canada
the problem is my friend had answered with $4000 for that question when filling up Profile , now after ITA if they donot show that amount($4000) wouldn't it Contradict ?ozlis said:So are you asking about POF or how to answer the question in the profile?
POF - not required, if the upload box appears just put an LOE
Profile - totally up to you, you can even put 0 and still meet the CEC requirements
No. She can say (in an LoE), that i filled it unknowingly, not knowing that for CEC applicants it is not required.canada19881 said:the problem is my friend had answered with $4000 for that question when filling up Profile , not after ITA if they donot show that amount($4000) wouldn't it Contradict ?
No, the LOE would say something along the lines of 'my invite to apply was issued under the CEC class, as such proof of funds is not required'. I personally did this and have my PR.canada19881 said:the problem is my friend had answered with $4000 for that question when filling up Profile , now after ITA if they donot show that amount($4000) wouldn't it Contradict ?

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.
The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."
