Problems with Police certificate.

I have got a police certificate issued (07/11/2018) This is for my IEC work permit. and I have been in Canada ever since. (I am still in Canada).

There is no expired date written on my police certificate. I am staying and living in Toronto.

But will I need to apply for a new one from the UK when I apply for my express entry?

I am having trouble understanding how this works? I hear they are valid for a short time and yet it takes a long time for the police certificate to arrive, will you have to constantly apply for the police certificate when you are still waiting at the pool?? Some say 'PCC issued by a foreign county is valid indefinitely' ?

When did you leave the UK and come to Canada? If the PCC was obtained for your IEC, presumably you left the UK after this date. If so, you need to get a new PCC. The PCC has to include all of your time spent in the UK.

So if I apply a new one from the UK, and as long as I don't return to the UK anymore, the PCC will stay valid?

Your PCC needs to be dated after you left the UK, that is the main thing. So if it your current one was received while you were still in the UK then you will need to get a new one, and this should stay valid as long as you don't return there to live, and it doesn't have an expiry date on it
