I can't believe I made so many mistakes in my initial application to CIO.Although I was recommended to a visa office for processing. Can I correct that error ,which unfortunately was overlooked by the CIO?Such mistakes included wrong time duration at my former place of work and many gaps which i did not account for.Is it okay to fill in the gap.For example I didn't fill any employment or activity between 2004 and 2005,whereas I was was working. Is it okay to correct this oversight?

did you apply within Canada? What is your NOC category?
if you want to include the missing information you should clearly explain through a separate sheet.
Better to ask you local visa office explaining your situation.

I guess you can try but how would you explain that you did not write you were working for one full year while you were actually working? It is hard for a common man to get it, its going to be harder for an officer to be convinced. You should very clearly and elaborately write why you over looked so many things.

The revised background /declaration form indicated that applicant must not leave any unexplained gap.I was shocked that I made such a silly oversight in the initial application made.Mistakes makes us human

I suggest not to change and remain same as you apply before.

Try to prove, everything is correct and genuine what you have written in form.

You have to prove, you will be economically stable in canada when you send your full document...
