We have landed in strange problem ..please help me
I'm currently working in Canada under Closed work permit for an IT firm and its been 8 months here..my work permit got extended and now I'm looking to bring my family.
Problem : When I applied for Initial Work permit in dependants name we entered our baby full name but recently when in her passport we shortened the name as the initial name was very big.
I'm now confused to apply for their visa as their is naming conflict from earlier records,we got the new shortened name change done in her birth certificate as well.
Will it create a problem in applying for their VISA ,?? Do I need to update CIC on this name change before applying visa ?? or should we go back and change all her passports and birth certificates again to her long name ?? please advice..
