Problem Validating Form IMM0008 because of dependant expired passport.

Hello,

I had a problem when I was validating my IMM0008 form.
My spouse passport has expired so the validation form failed to validate her passport expiry date.

What can I do to overcome this issue? do I validate it with a future date and then modify the expiry date? or I just don't validate it at all?

Note: my wife is already a permanent resident, so she won't need visa on her passport at all.
