Hi Guys!
I am an Internaional student at Centennial college. I got the visa in SPP. I applied to Concordia University after coming here and I got offer for September, 2011 intake. I want to transfer to concordia university but my student advisor at college says that I cannot drop a semester at college and if I do so I would face problems while filing for Post graduate work permit. He say I need to go back to my country and return before the start of september.

I dont want to waste my money by paying fees at this college nor do i want to go back and come again. will I face a problem if I drop a semester here and wait untill september?

Just my wild guess . If you are not registered in any courses at a college since you are withdrawing from
Your previous college and do no wAnt to leave that place. You will be out of your student status in Canada. So you can be deported if caught. You can come back again before the start of classes for your new school .
