Hello all..
i have been to canada for one month (on 23rd june)with my husband and son on PR basis. After that, me and my son came back(on 24th july),while husband stayed there. Now PR card of our son has come, but letter came about problem in snaps of me and my husband. As i am in india, can i send my snaps from here(to my husband to forward it to canadian embassy). What about the signature? in their record, i am not in canada now. Can anybody guide me what we can do? I dont have any plans of going to canada for one year.

thanks

As you say they notified you of an issue with your photos via mail, did they ask you/give you the option of sending new photos via mail or to show up in person only? Please check the letter they sent you again and you might find the answer to your question there.

If they explicitly asked you to show up, I'm afraid there's no other choice. If not, you can sign on whatever form they mailed you, attache new photos, and send everything to your husband. He can arrange for the rest along with his new pics.

If you do have to go and attend in person, it will be extra expense of course. However, if you are not visa-exempt, you will need to apply for a permanent resident travel document to be able to return. On that basis, you might want to consider not obtaining your PR card until you return in a year's time.
