Hi everybody,

I have decided to start private tutoring like 5 to 10 hrs a week. I am an international student and I find my students on the Internet so I was wondering if I need to have a work-permit to be able to do private tutoring and how can I report the income I have for the tax purpose if I should report.

With Regards

Yes - you need a work permit.

If you're an international student, then hopefully you are attending a school which qualifies you to apply for the off campus work permit. This is the type of work permit you need to obtain if you want to tutor as an international student in Canada.
