Dear All

As my wife has done BA from Karachi University, as a private candidate. It is not mentioned anywhere in the degree that it is of a private candidate. Will I get her points too or not and how will they assess that it is a degree of a private candidate. I have heard that they dont give any points to the private candidate.

regards

I dont think thats true... degree is a degree whether privately done or through regular studies, thats why degree certificate does`nt mention it.

I think Qorax/Rocky or Leon can shed some more light on it with their extensive experience.

Any education credential if it is recognized by educational authorities in your country, it is acceptable for Canadian immigration.

yes it is true that private degree does not give you point. in getting points your last degree must be as a regular student. if ur spouse does her M.A as a regular candidate then u can claim the points otherwise not.

How the CHC knows that it is a private degree when it is not mentioned in the degree certificate itself.

Thanks
