US citizen, living in MB 1968-1983, landed immigrant status. 2 children born in MB. Relocated to USA, but collect CPP, OAS & survivor benefit thru RCMP....pay taxes and still have SIN. Looking to move back to MB with parental sponsorship and wondering if having Canadian income will help.

No won't make a difference. Has your PR status been revoked? Can't apply again without losing your PR status first.

Thanks for the input. Gave up “landed immigrant”status voluntarily when I moved back the the US....35 yrs ago. Now would like to be closer to my kids.

Your children will havw to apply for the lottery in January if they qualify. If not there is the option of a supervisa.

Thanks again! Hopefully this will be my last question...is the application only available in January for 2019, or can it be filed prior to that time to be considered.

It cannot be filed earlier. The first step is to enter the lottery in Jan 2019. If you're selected in the lottery, then you can submit the application.
