I am principal applicant in canada and i finished my medicals.. I got married recently and my spouse in India.. , I am going to update my immigration file with change in family composition and add spouse to my application. If she receives medical forms, Can my spouse take the medical examination back in India??

How long the PR processing time will be extended because of this addition???

I appreciate if you could share your experiences..

As far as I know...

Yes she can have medicals done in India, you need to look up CIC website to find out if they have designated doctors in India... or where is the nearest one for India...

This is quite a significant addition to your application, she will have to clear medical exams and background checks for all countries she lived for more than 6 months since the age of 18. It’s hard to tell how much longer it will take because of this addition but they will put a stop on your application until she is cleared on medicals and background.
