Primary Occupation ( Five digit Noc Code)

Hello,

I have a question regarding the work history section in the Express Entry form. I have completed one year of experience under NOC code 21221, which qualifies under STEM. However, due to a layoff, I have changed jobs, and my new position falls under NOC code 11202.

Which NOC code should I list as my primary occupation: 11202 or 21221? Could someone help me with this?

It should be the one you want your profile to be based on and others for additional points.

You can only use the old one. Your new noc does not have 1 year of experience, so it will not make you eligible for express entry
