Hello All,

I have just about 3 years of work experience in my primary NOC 2274. I have all the necessary documents to prove this. This is meeting the criteria.

I am currently in the pool with a 471 CRS score.

I am going to start a new job soon. The NOC code is in skill set B. But the NOC code is quite different from my primary NOC code. I am doing this currently cause I cannot continue with my present NOC due to travel restrictions. So technically i am not employed and my employer has said that he will employ me again in sometime.

To make ends meet and to kill some time, i applied for some jobs and i got a job.

This new job will be for six to eight months but will definitely under 12 months. This new job will not be my primary NOC. Can I claim points for this???

Should I mention this in my EE profile? I will have all the necessary documents to back it up.Salary slips, bank statements, employment reference letter, tax returns etc..??

Even if i don't get any additional points for this new NOC, i believe it is a good idea to keep my profile updated.

please suggest keeping in mind that this job will be for 6-8 months as i am filling in for someone who is taking a long leave. It will be full time, paid and not a contract job.

For CRS points, the work experience points max out after 3 years. For FSW points, they max out at 6 years. As long as you have enough work experience to score 67 FSW points with your primary NOC, you are good. You can mention the other job in your profile without any issues as long as you are able to get the required documents for it.
