Hi Folks. My wife and I have applied for permanent residence (via Ontario Provincial Nominee Program). She is the primary applicant and I'm her dependent. We got the nomination and are currently waiting for the PR to get approved. My wife lives and works in the US while I hold a PGWP in Canada and work here. I've a question about how the landing process will happen for us.
My understanding is that I can do a virtual landing and get a eCOPR while she has to get a COPR and enter the country and get it validated (signed by border officer). However, since I'm a dependent, I can't get a PR status until she has entered and validated her COPR. In this case, will I get an email asking for my information only after she has entered or will I be asked to apply through portal 1 and 2 and put on hold until she lands? How would it exactly happen?
