Primary applicant currently no job

Hi fellow forum members,

Is it okay to have spouse who is currently not working as primary applicant? All other requirements are met like experience in past 10 years, education and IELTS. Does "not currently working" have any affect on the express entry profile or outcome of the application?

No.

He will be assessed on the factors that made him eligible in the first place not on future factors like new employment.
