previously applied for Express Entry, would it affect my study permit application?

Hi I withdrew my EE application early this year (less than 1 year in the pool) and now switch to become a student, I have all my materials ready and about to lodge my study permit application. I was wondering if my previous EE application would affect my study permit negatively since it somehow shows my intention to migrate to Canada / not returning home after studies.

Could anyone share some advice on what to include in my SOP about my EE application and show the visa officer that I genuinely want to be a student this time? or should I avoid mentioning it in my SOP? or what can be done to minimize the impact from that EE to my study permit? I am confused and kinda worried about my study permit now :(

thanks in advance

Im in the same situation, except I still have a valid EEprofile and EOI for SINP, waiting for members to kindly share their expertise/opinions here.
Would be grateful if anyone can pass on their knowledge in these scenarios.
Thanks in advance.

I was also in the pool last year 2019 but wasn't able to get invitation due to inadequate score so i switch to Student Visa application I lodged my online application last 28th in January. Here's my timeline;

October 2019 - I got my letter of Acceptance from Fanshawe College.
28 Jan 2020 - I submitted my application ONLINE (The lag time from 2019-2020 was used in gathering all the papers I need for the submission.)
29 Jan 2020 - Notification from IRCC that i will need to submit my biometrics to any VFS Centre near me
13 Feb 2020 - I Submitted my Biometrics (It took me around 2 weeks to wait for my appointment, slot comes in a first-come-first-serve basis)
27 Feb 2020 - I have received a request to undergo for Medical Examination
7 Mar 2020 - I finally went for medical exam.(Again, need to book the appointment)
27 Mar 2020 - IRCC notified me that my results in medical exam passed.
3 April 2020 - A correspondence letter was sent to me - this contains the validity of my Biometrics.
They say that if you receive this letter, your visa is bound for decision. Your visa may be approved/ disapproved in the coming few days.

But in the moment, maybe due to the current situation, I have never received any update from them.

So did you remove your profile from EE, or is still there.
Did you mention about your EE application in your SOP while applying study visa.

I searched through some posts on this forum and found that several people were on the same boat as us, and the responses were mostly 'it's okay to apply for student permit with and without EE profile', but none gave idea what to do in the SOP.
I am planning to keep silent about it for my SOP and not to hide/lie about it, not sure what i will write tho
