I was an International Student in Canada for 4 years with a multiple entry study permit.

I overstayed my visa by 1.5 years in which time I did not take any courses or work.

I left voluntarily without any order for removal. Booked a ticket and left for my home country.

It's been 4 years since and I want to apply for a Visit Visa to go see my friends and extended family.

I have a good job in my country of residence and can show CAD 8000 funds for a two week stay. I am going to apply with my immediate family for this visit who also have stable and good jobs with funds equal to CAD 20,000 and over.

On the Application form for the visit visa, the following questions...

Have you remained beyond the validity, of your status, attended school without authorization or worked without authorization in Canada? YES or NO.
Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? YES or NO.
Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? YES or NO.

I want to answer these questions and would also like to know...

1. What are my chances on getting the visit visa if I answer them honestly?
2. Will Canada Immigration or Border Services have information about the date I left Canada voluntarily? Consider that my passport number has changed as the passport with the study permit expired. I got a new passport and then that expired and now I'm on my third passport since the study permit.
3. How does this affect my future immigration to Canada as a Skilled worker, express entry or married spouse?

Is there other way to answer them?

Only the CIC officer can evaluate your case. You certainly have given Canada enough reasons not to believe you will leave at the end of your authorized stay.

Yes.

Only the CIC officer that evaluates your case would know. This does have an impact, how much is impossible to know.
