Previous visits to Canada as student / worker

Hi all,

Just finishing up my family class sponsorship application this week, and a question just occurred.

Many years ago, in 2001-02 and again in 2003, I visited Canada as, firstly, a student (a one year stay as part of my UK-based undergrad degree) and, secondly, as a temporary worker on the Working Holiday visa, as it was called at the time. When the visas ended I left the country on both occasions, so there was no issue of overstaying or anything like that.

Previous visits to Canada aren't asked for as part of the family class application, but I was just wondering, is it worth mentioning these visits in some capacity? I don't want the immigration office to think I've deliberately withheld pertinent information, but at the same time, I'm wary of sharing stuff that isn't relevant to my current application.

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

Dean.

I've also held a working visa and am about to send off my application for PR tomorrow (fingers crossed :p ) I'm not mentioning past visas specifically although I have Canadian address' in my required personal history over the past 10 years.

As it isn't asked for, it doesn't need to be mentioned.
