Hi There,
Here is my scenario and will apperciate your expert advice on this. My wife got her PR one year 6 month before me (before our marriage). After we got married she applied for my PR status and I got my PR in approx 4 months. And I moved to Canada with her. After living in Canada for approx 1 yr and 10 months we moved back. In the mean while my wife completed her 3 years and applied for her canadian citizenship. Currently she is waiting for her test date and living with me outside canada. After she gets her Canadian citizenship she will apply for dual citizenship and come back after she gets it. My questions.

1. Will I be able to preserve my canadian PR status although I have not completed 2 yrs in Canada?
2. Can my wife loose her citizenship if she stays outside canada for a long period?
3. Will my kids be born canadia citizen?
4. Is there any law in canada that says that you can loose your canadian citizenship if you do not live in canada?
We had to move back to our original country as we could not find a good job their and make our ends meet. However we do intend to move back in the near future. But don't know when.

Thanx for your guidance.
