Good Day All,

In regards to my last post regarding the Settlement Workers/Immigration Services, I attended my appointment and I do have a couple of questions:

in the areas of the applications/forms..such as

employment dates for the present employers...I was told to not leave this area blank and to fill the date 'to' as the the date I am sending the applications...even though employment is still ongoing and present...this would be for my husband/sponsor and myself.

Ex.

Dates of Employemnt

'from' 01/01/2006 'to' (todays date) I had originally left these areas blank as we are both still employed/working...

Also, I was told to not include the forms which are not applicable to me...such as
Use of Representation

May I please hear some feedback?

I thank you for your time,
KJ

For things that are still ongoing, just write to "present". That's perfectly fine.

As for the forms... some got information from CIC to print the forms anyway and cross them out, writing Not Applicable on them.
Or, you could do what most people do and not include the forms that you don't need. Just make sure you don't mark them as included on the checklist and it will be fine. It's what I did and had no issues getting my visa, nor have I heard of anyone else having trouble because of it.
