Regarding prescription medications, does the holder of a supervisa need to bring the original prescription document from their doctor, or is verbally explaining it sufficient?

Like how does it work in airports/immigration? Do you need to declare it and they will ask for the original prescription document? One of my parents need to bring meds for high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

They are able to bring a 3 month supply. Normally you need to have a prescription label on the medication although that isn’t required in other countries. In reality if the drug is legal in Canada and can not be abused they will likely be fine with a 3 month supply without any labels or doctor info. Keep it in the original packaging.
