Hello,
I will be landing in Canada next month and have a few questions regarding the Border officer.
-What documents will the officer want to see? (I assume they ask for a letter of intro, acceptance letter, bank statement, passport)
-Should the bank statement be issued recently or can it be 4-5 months old?
-Is it true that they ask about travel insurance?
-Do they ask about the university health insurance plan?
-Do they ask for a RETURN ticket?
-Do they ask about the monetary value of all the items in my baggage/luggage?
-Can I take medicine(for allergy) with me to Canada?

Help is highly appreciated!!
Thank you and good luck!

- Your acceptance letter, possibly a bank statement. Obviously the passport.
- Better to have a recent statement, though this will only be an issue if he doesn't like something about your documents
- They can. Don't have to ask, though
- Again, they can. This is unusual
- No, not if you're coming as a student
- They can if they wish to.
- Yes, but only a 90-day supply, and make sure you carry a prescription. Even if it's a non-prescription medication, don't carry more than a 90-day supply.
