Hello Folks,

I know there is a link for discover Canada book online. But are there any third party website or apps available that we can use instead of reading the whole book to prepare for the test.

Thanks

I passed my test today scoring 20 / 20. Test was very simple and very basic. I guess one can even pass with out preparing any thing. Just use your common sense. Some questions were so simple I just smiled that even a 12 year old would be able to answer them,My suggestion is read the book and just these two websites are enough

http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/
https://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/

Going through every website and doing lot of reading and practice is not required in my opinion if you only want to pass the test

I want to add more here. I purchased this package of $29 from citizenshipsupport.ca

and to be honest even when I was practicing through this website I realised the quizz question they are asking are too irrelevant and too difficult so I stopped reading through this website. Questions like which province borders what,, yukon does not brrder which province etc etc are too irrelevant and too difficult. In actual test you will never see these kind of questions

and in actual test no date kinda quesitons like when european exploration began,, when king george II did what etc etc

Just use basic website like apna toronto and your library thats it

v-soul website is same...its too difficult..so useless if you only want to pass the test

All web sites requesting money to prepare you for the citizenship test are SCAM.

They offer few click bait free questions, where they ask you ridiculously complicated questions or simple questions but offering almost similar answers, just to convince you how poor and inadequate your knowledge is.

I agree with you. I would say as they are charging money so to make their material different and kinda outstanding they include tricky and difficult questions which are very far from actual questions in test.

My advise to any one is just keep it simple. Read the book and only use 2 websites I gave you. I researched all these websites given above but my conclusion is just these 2 websites are enough and basic. They cover the things what you need

I am not sure I agree. I spent the money for citizenshipsupport.ca and found it useful as I learn better by doing quizzes than reading the book. But than, I did not mind learning about the country I became a citizen of. Also, the tests differ. I believe in being better over prepared than just trying to pass.
