Hey, all friends,

The baby was born recently and is a premature child(The expected date of confinement is in April). Right now, the new born baby is in ICU. As the doctor's advice, the baby wouldn't leave hospital until mid March. So the new born baby can't get the passport until April. The ITA has been accepted (The expire date for submitting the application is March 6, 2016). All the documents the baby need to submit are passport, birth certificate, photo and medical exam proof. Because of the health condition of the baby, only the birth certificate can be prepared before March 6, 2016. Will the officer reject the application because of incomplete application document?

Does anyone give some help and advice?

Congratulations on the new arrival, hope you have the courage and patience required over the initial tough months and wish the newborn a healthy life ahead.

Submit the birth certificate along with a detailed LOE highlighting the medical status of the newborn along with other documentation from the hospital indicating your inability to provide the passport and any other required documents at this point in time. Request for an extension to submit those documents by end April - IRCC will respond favorably to such requests.

All the best!

Hello,

Let me tell you about my experience. I received ITA on november 13 and my new baby was born on november 24. I knew it was going to be very difficult for me to get all the documentation of the new baby on time for submittion of my eAPR so i decided to submit my application without the baby on december 9. On january, when i was able to get all the documents of the baby i added him via a CSE. I sent CIC the birth certificate, medicals, passport and photo of my baby. They replied a week later asking me to uploads some updated forms (on this forms i had to add the details of my baby) and proof of payment of the application fee for the new family member.

Hope that helps.
