pregnant woman for medication test-X-Ray concern

Hi I am in my 15weeks of pregnancy, got medical check notice today, with the medical check there is a X-Ray session, should I do it or I have to
wait until i give birth? If I insist to do it will doctor accommodate my request or she/he will refuse my request? I really need to get it done asap. thx

You can choose to defer your chest x-ray due to pregnancy - you will have to inform the panel physician at the time of your medical examination.

Nevetheless, the other procedures required for the medical examination can be done (i.e. physical exam, blood tests etc.), leaving only the xray as the only procedure left to be completed. Expect that your medical examination is deferred/on-hold until you complete the xray and expect sometime added to the processing of your application due to the the ME on hold on account of the deferral of the xray

thank you so much for your reply, but it will postphone my application for sure. after i give birth will it make the application more complex cause
the new member of family addition? the link you provide shows defer X-ray, if i insist do it immediately can i do it? thx

thank you, it says i can proceed with the same procedure. I contact all physicians none of them recommend i do the X-ray during pregnant.

hi my wife had same case. she was pregnant while we got medical. she was almost 12 weeks. we spoke to doctor and
she told us its upto you.normally when u tell to x ray taking person. she/he will take extra care to do take x ray. in my wife case
x ray person cover her belly with strong powerful belt. we did and everything good till today. if you postpone it, u will have to
wait for getting pr. its your choice. i just told you my own story. we didnt want to wait so we did and we succeed. final decision
will b yours not doctor. my doctor suggested to go ahead.good luck.
