Pregnant spouse sponsorship question

Hi all,

I'm a Canadian/Russian dual-citizen currently living and working in Russia. I've gotten married here and right now my wife is pregnant (my wife is a Russian citizen, and our baby is due in October). We are considering moving to Canada, but I'm wondering if I should start the application process now, or wait until our baby is born as well, and then include both my spouse and the child on the forms.

If you were born in Canada or are a naturalized Canadian, your child will be Canadian and therefore not included in your wife's sponsorship app.

Zero difference. Your child will be a Canadian citizen.
