Hello everyone,

I am about to apply, and I would like to know if my non-accompanying who is pregnant will delay my application since she cannot take x-rays checks? Will CIC process my application even if my wife cannot take those tests since she will not come with me or will they postpone it ? thanks.

Best regards,

Best regards,
It will not delay. You can submit an LOE mentioning your spouse is Pregnant.

Thank you for your reply, I am asking because I am seeing people being delayed for this matter, but I don't know if it related to the fact that whether the wife is accompanying or not, so this is what worries me.

Your wife must complete the medical whether she is accompanying or non-accompanying in order for your visa to be approved. To complete the medical, she must take an x-ray. Since she is pregnant, she will have to wait until after she gives birth before she can get the x-ray. This means your application cannot be finalized and your visa cannot be approved until after she gives birth.
